Of all the gifts for which we thank God, above all is the gift of Himself to us, His erring but redeemed children!  Whom have I in Heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides you” (Psalm 73:25).

Our purpose is to reach out to families and individuals of all backgrounds and bring them into healing and transforming relationships with the Lord Jesus and with others in His Church through the sharing of God’s Word and Sacraments.

THANK YOU ST. PAUL!  This is from the DCE intern who is having to wear pink clothes and pink hair all week!  Thank you, St. Paul, for your generous excitement about the youth service auction that took place at the ministry fair last Sunday.  I am not generally a gambling person, but I placed what I thought was a safe wager on the youth’s abilities at this auction.  This was our first time trying something like this, and so I thought that to bet them that they could not raise $1,000 would be safe.  The terms of the bet were, if they lost, they didn’t get $1,000 towards our servant trips; if I lost, I had to wear pink hair and pink clothing for an entire week, as they know full well my odium for the color.  Our youth and our congregation exceeded my expectations and reminded me why I never gamble – I am definitely in pink!  But thank you, St. Paul, and we praise God for what you gave us this past week.  The money raised will help us to take a one-weekend youth retreat in the winter and to begin to save money for a servant event trip next summer.
