Of all the gifts for which we thank God, above all is the gift of Himself to us, His erring but redeemed children!  Whom have I in Heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides you” (Psalm 73:25).

Our purpose is to reach out to families and individuals of all backgrounds and bring them into healing and transforming relationships with the Lord Jesus and with others in His Church through the sharing of God’s Word and Sacraments.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

MARK YOUR CALENDARS TODAY!    St. Paul ’s biannual congregational meeting is coming up.  On Sunday, November 18, we will meet after church in the cafeteria for reports from the pastor, principal and boards, as well as to approve next year’s Mission Budget.  Please plan on joining us for this important meeting as well as for food and fellowship.  In that spirit, the Board of Directors is organizing a good old-fashioned pot luck.  We ask you to prepare one of your own favorite or famous dishes to share.  The kitchen will be open before the 9:00 a.m. worship service to receive your food, as well as warming or cooling instructions.  In the interest of variety, we ask that you cook as assigned below:

Last names beginning with         A – H – Hot dish, meat, casserole

I – P  Cold dish, salads, sides

Q – Z  Desserts or breads

We know that the Lord will bless us in all that we do in his name.  And now we put our trust in him, that there won’t be 25 red jellos.

BAKE AUCTION! Howdy, St. Paul!  Get your stomachs ready for the pre-holidays bake auction sponsored by your local chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.  Funds raised will matched up to 800 dollars!  The bake auction will be next Sunday, November 11th!  It will be during the Christian Growth Hour and the green paper proceeds will go to the youth group as we raise funds for a servant event trip in the summer.  But the culinary proceeds will go straight to your stomach and may even save you a few hours’ baking for an early Thanksgiving!  Come join the traditional St. Paul fun and we’ll see you there!
