The mission of the Drama Ministry Team is to facilitate spiritual growth and outreach by sharing the gospel message through dramatic presentation.

November 14 a reprisal of The Echo by Paul Gossman and Lynette Welter was presented.  (See January)

 

October 10, Erin H. & Yvonne B. presented Basking in the Son by Troy Schmidt.

 

September 12, Patrick M., John Feine, and Lynette W. presented Who’s the Man! during the outdoor Sunday School kickoff service.

 

Not the silk robe, the terry cloth one, with the stain.August 8 there was a special Lava Lava Island presentation by the students who attended Vacation Bible School in June.

Why does the narrator always wear black?During the worship services for Fathers' Day, June 19 and June 20, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented The Prodigal Son's Dad  by Rene Gutteridge. Father: Chuck L., Younger Son: Tim S., Older Son: Brian S., Servant: Yvonne B., Narrator: Lynette W.

Adam has a few ideas about what the perfect mate should be like...God does too!During the worship services on Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May 9, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented One Woman Coming Up by Troy Schmidt.  Voice:  Al B., Adam:  Jamie S.  Special appearance by Kippy courtesy of Leslie W. 

 

Chuck did it anyway, despite Pam's wise councel.The Drama Ministry team presented Wise Counsel by Tim Kurth, during the Faith Love & Sex programs May 7 and 8.  Chuck:  Brian S.  Pamela:  Erin H. 

 

Sunday, April 11 during the 10 a.m. Easter festival worship service, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented the dramatic reading "Holy Joy" adapted by Paul Gossman and Lynette Welter from “Released!  Released!” by Steven James.  Readers included:  Rachel B. and Reggie J. (p.m.).  Musical accompaniment played by Stacia Page. 

Friday, April 9 during the 10 a.m. & 7 p.m. Good Friday worship services, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented the dramatic reading "Waiting.  Watching." Also adapted from “Released!  Released!” by Steven James.  Readers included:  Rachel B. (a.m. & p.m.), Reggie J. (p.m.) and Lynette Welter (a.m.). 

 

Saturday, April 4 and Sunday April 5 The Vacation Bible School Drama “Come to Lava Lava Island” was presented by Patrick M. & Lynette Welter. 

 

Wednesday, March 31, during the 10 a.m. & 7 p.m. Lenten worship services, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented the dramatic reading "The Cry of Many Angels" Readers included:  Chuck L., Jewel L., Patrick M. & Lynette Welter. 

 

Wednesday, March 24, during the 10 a.m. & 7 p.m. Lenten worship services, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented the dramatic reading " Search Me, O God " Readers included:  Sylvia B., Gabrielle B., Beverly M., Jamie S., Mara S., & Lynette Welter. 

 

Wednesday, March 17, during the 10 a.m. & 7 p.m. Lenten worship services, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented the dramatic reading "The Armies of Heaven" Readers included:  Jackie A., Pris G., Bob K., Del M., Dorleen M. & Lynette Welter. 

 

On Saturday, March 13 & Sunday, March 14, the sketch "Holy Destruction" was presented by Jerry B. & Sharon O.

 

Wednesday, March 10, during the 10 a.m. & 7 p.m. Lenten worship services, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented the Dramatic reading "Forsaken or Forgiven?"  Readers included: Laura L., Patrick M., Janet M., Chris W. & Lynette Welter.

 

February 8, 2004, during the 9 AM worship service, the Drama Ministry Team presented "The Machine" by John Cosper. Performed by: Eegor: Sean B., Janet: Sarah G., Victor: John F., Directed by Lynette Welter.

January 10 during the 5:30 PM service & January 11 during the 9 AM service, The Drama Ministry Team presented "The Echo" by Paul Gossman and Lynette Welter.  The cast included Hiker:  Lynette Welter, Echo:  Gabrielle Brown. 

 

If that's a level 4 trail, level 5 must be straight up a cliff.If I got away from it all, I thought I could hear God.The Echo

 

Sunday, November 9, during the 9 a.m. worship service, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented "What You Don’t Know" by Bethany Wallace.  Performed by:  Jane:  Kim L., Bob:  John F., Jill:  Becky G., Hank:  Brian S., Directed by Lynette Welter.

 

Saturday, October 11, during the 5:30 PM worship service and Sunday, October 12, during the 9 AM worship service, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented "Let Go and Let God". Performed by: Christian: Reggie J., Voice: Colin B.; Sound: Fermin M. and Rick B.; Crew: Jewel L. and Alex F.; Directed by Lynette Welter.

Christian takes matters literally into his own hands... With disasterous results.

 

 

September 14, during the 9 AM worship service, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented "The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders" by Jeffrey A. Burkart. Performed by: Narrator: Geoff W., Contractor: Al B., Wise Builder: Sharon O., Foolish Builder: Becky G., Construction Workers: Del M., Chris W., Vanesa L., Patrick M., Theresa B., Louise G., Dorleen M., Pris G., Sarah G., and Lori S.  Sound: Rick B. Props: Nina B., Stephen B., Carl F., Dorleen M., Louise G., Lynette W., Del M. and others too numerous to name. Thanks to all who lent us their hard hats! August 10, 2003 during the 9 AM worship service, the St. Paul Drama Ministry Team presented "The Doctor is In" a sketch by Lorna Lee which explores the mean of the true Christian life. Our actors are Darryl B., Pris G., and Pat M., set design by Nina B.  Directed by Gabrielle Brown
