I have been Parish Nurse at St. Paul since January 2002. I graduated from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, St Louis, Missouri. Prior to becoming Parish Nurse I worked in hospitals in Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, and Minnesota. I have held a variety of medical-surgical nursing positions. Assistant clinical instructor, staff nurse medical-surgical telemetry units, charge nurse, and interim manager.

I had the privilege of serving as Preceptor for 12 new graduate nurses during my years at Westlake Hospital. I also served on various committees including skin management and infection control. Currently I serve on the Community Health Education Advisory Board at Westlake.

My husband and I served as missionaries for the LCMS in Venezuela for 12 years. Our two children, Rebecca and Jonathan, were born there. They and their families live in the area. We have 5 grandsons.
